Duties
- Greet prospective residents warmly, providing detailed tours of multiple properties and explaining leasing options clearly and confidently.
- Manage the entire leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, including data entry into property management system Appfolio.
- Conduct thorough background checks, verify income eligibility, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
- Respond promptly to resident inquiries via phone, email, or in person, delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
- Assist with property maintenance coordination by communicating tenant requests and coordinating with facilities management teams. This includes apartment inspections.
- Upsell available amenities or additional services to enhance resident satisfaction and increase occupancy rates.
- Support compliance efforts by staying current on Landlord-Tenant Law, Fair Housing regulations, and related legal requirements to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, property leasing, property management, administrative roles with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Knowledge in property management software such as Appfolio, Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms.
- Marketing skills with access to media
- Understanding of Landlord-Tenant Law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal administrative processes related to leasing.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with effective conflict management techniques to foster positive resident relationships.
- Office experience including data entry, phone etiquette.
- Ability to manage multiple sites efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—and a friendly demeanor that enhances customer relationships.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
