Third Shift Residential Worker
Shifts Available:
7 AM - 3 PM
3 PM – 11 PM

Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Support: Encourage and assist residents in achieving their personal recovery goals and plans.
- Safe & Supportive Environment: Maintain a clean, recovery-focused environment that promotes growth, rehabilitation, and the development of natural supports and life skills.
- Trust & Emotional Support: Engage residents in a trusting and supportive manner, providing emotional support within professional boundaries.
- Recovery Plan Assistance: Support individualized recovery plans with a focus on physical health, mental well-being, and emotional growth. This includes:
- Incorporating self-help techniques into daily practices.
- Role modeling healthy behaviors.
- Assisting in building informal support networks.
- Guiding the use of community resources.
- Recordkeeping & Observation: Document all resident activities, behaviors, and progress accurately.
- Daily Living Assistance: Partner with residents in meal planning and preparation, household maintenance, and life skills training.
- Facility Safety: Conduct regular checks of the facility and surrounding grounds to ensure safety.
- Transportation: Transport residents to appointments or work as needed.
- Medication Support: Assist residents with self-administration of prescribed or over-the-counter medications.
- Shift Coverage: Provide coverage for other shifts as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Age Requirement: 21 years or older preferred.
- License: Valid driver’s license required.
- Screening: Must pass a drug screening.
- Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with public social support systems.
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in mental health recovery or drug & alcohol recovery.
- CPR certification (preferred but not required).
- Skills: Knowledge of community resources, consumer advocacy, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Additional Details:
- Job Type: Part-time
- Pay: $10.00 - $10.50 per hour starting
- Expected Hours: 32.5 – 37.5 hours per week
- Benefits: Paid time off
- Work Location: In person
