About the Role
As a Director of Nurses, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, supervising a team of nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices. Your expertise will be instrumental in implementing evidence-based practices, developing policies and procedures, and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and performance management
Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Joint Commission and CMS requirements
Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote quality care and patient satisfaction
Collaborate with other departments, including therapy, social work, and dietary services, to ensure comprehensive care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects
Foster a positive work environment and promote team building among staff members
