Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bath and Shower Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, remodeling, and restoring bathroom fixtures, including bathtubs, showers, and related components. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install bath and shower units according to specifications.
- Measure dimensional requirements precisely using tape measures and other hand tools to ensure proper fit and alignment of fixtures.
- Install plumbing connections for bathtubs, showers, faucets, and related fixtures while adhering to plumbing codes and safety standards.
- Use power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, fitting, sealing, caulking, and finishing installation components.
- Perform surface preparation tasks such as tile masonry work, drywall finishing, stucco application, or flooring installation as needed for bathroom remodels.
- Conduct quality inspections during each phase of installation to ensure compliance with building material specifications and construction plans.
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite by managing debris removal, tool storage, and safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction management principles and construction site operations.
- Proficiency in construction estimating to accurately assess project scope and materials needed.
- basic knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics related to fixtures, and building material installation techniques.
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans for precise execution.
- Familiarity with tile masonry experience, gutter installation, framing carpentry, door hanging, trim carpentry, roofing basics, restoration work, cabinet installation, drywall finishing (including plastering), flooring installation, concrete forming, masonry work, caulking techniques, construction painting, fabrication processes, heavy equipment operation when necessary.
- Ability to use various hand tools such as saws, drills, levels; power tools including drills and grinders; as well as measuring devices like tape measures.
- Knowledge of building codes related to bathroom fixtures and safety regulations.
- Experience with Bluebeam software or similar digital markup tools is a plus for reviewing construction plans electronically.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail in following blueprint specifications and ensuring high-quality workmanship on every project.
