Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret various medical imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine procedures with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive diagnostic reports and treatment plans.
- Ensure accurate documentation of findings within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or EMR platforms, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases, providing expert insights on radiological assessments.
- Maintain proficiency in the latest imaging techniques and emerging technologies to enhance diagnostic accuracy and patient care quality.
- Support patient care by explaining procedures and findings clearly, addressing patient concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Contribute to clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects aimed at advancing radiology practices and healthcare standards.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Radiology from an accredited program.
- Post-residency experience in diagnostic radiology, with demonstrated expertise in interpreting a broad spectrum of imaging modalities including CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiography.
- Proficiency with EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms; experience with medical imaging software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy relevant to radiological assessments across multiple specialties such as cardiology, neurology, oncology, pediatrics, orthopedics, gastroenterology, dermatology, obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn), pulmonology, and emergency medicine.
- Strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with healthcare professionals across disciplines like anesthesiology, pathology, surgery, internal medicine, family medicine, critical care units, and more.
- Excellent communication skills for detailed reporting and patient interaction; ability to explain complex findings clearly.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as vascular interventional radiography or nuclear medicine are advantageous.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through clinical research or continued education in advanced imaging techniques.
