We are looking to fill a full time Dishwasher position with occasional food prep support.
Team Member will clean dishes including fragile china, pots and pans after events at small, commercial kitchen facility. Cleaning and disinfecting sinks, countertops and hard surfaces. Sweeping, mopping and trash disposal.
Duties will include:
- HEAVY China and glassware cleaning 1-2 days/week, post event. Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils and work areas
- Daily floor cleaning, trash disposal and kitchen organization
- Facility support including cleaning bathrooms daily
- Occasional assisting with food preparation such as packing away food, assembling small bites, etc
- Follow Proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
Job Requirements
Stand for long periods of time
Reach and lift overhead up to 60 pounds
Safely unload items from event trucks before cleaning
Work in environment where smoke, fumes, steam, and other airborne particles are present
Work around, handle, operate, and control hot equipment and products in a safe manner
Work at a pace consistent with changing business volume and demands
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
Ability to work as part of a team
Flexibility - As a catering company, our menus and needs change weekly.
Primary work days: Flexible - 5 day workweek with variance based on needs
Some additional shifts may be requested by team as needed.
