About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and organized Sales / Office Assistant to join our growing car lift wholesale and retail business. This position combines inside sales, customer service, and administrative office support. The ideal candidate enjoys helping customers, staying organized, multitasking, and working in a fast-paced environment. Automotive or equipment experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Support
- Answer inbound phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and order status.
- Assist wholesale and retail customers with quotes, product recommendations, and order processing.
- Follow up on sales leads, customer inquiries, and previous purchases.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships through excellent service.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Coordinate appointments, product demonstrations, and installation schedules when needed.
- Promote company products and assist customers in selecting the best solutions for their needs.
Office Support
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Enter customer information, orders, and sales activities into the CRM system.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems using Google Drive.
- Prepare sales reports and assist with tracking key sales metrics.
- Answer office phones and direct calls appropriately.
- Manage office calendars, appointments, and scheduling.
- Order and maintain office supplies.
- Assist with invoicing, payment processing, and basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks.
Sales Operations
- Support the sales team by preparing quotes, proposals, and customer information.
- Coordinate with shipping and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory availability and communicate stock updates to customers.
- Process invoices, assist with payment collection, and track outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
QualificationsExperience
- Previous experience in office administration, inside sales, customer service, or administrative support preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.
- Automotive, equipment, or industrial sales experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience using CRM software or order management systems is preferred.
