Brand My Bags is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Printing and Packaging Pouch Converting Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating converting machinery to produce high-quality flexible packaging pouches, ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards and safety protocols. Your expertise will help drive efficiency in the production process while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Responsibilities
- Operate converting machines, ensuring smooth production flow and optimal machine performance
- Interpret production documents, and specifications to accurately set up and adjust machinery
- Conduct dimensional measurements and quality checks throughout the production process to meet quality standards in packaging
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs on converting equipment to minimize downtime
- Adhere to safety standards and safety protocol procedures at all times, including manual handling practices and forklift operation when necessary
- Adjust industrial equipment settings for precise paper packaging and printing outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, and quality inspections for compliance and continuous improvement
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently
- Experience operating converting machines, including flexo presses and other packaging machinery
- Familiarity with prepress processes, printing techniques, and quality standards in manufacturing environments
- Ability to interpret manufacturing management documents, work instructions, and technical drawings
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during production
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including forklift operation and manual handling procedures
- Understanding of dimensional measurements, machining processes, and industrial equipment adjustments for precise output

- Attention to detail and able to collect and report variable data during production operation.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.

- Strong work ethic, dependable job performance, and reliable attendance.
- Must be flexible with hours during peak season and hot jobs.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, for up to 2 hours continuously.
- Extend and reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Computer use.
Possess skills to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment
Schedules:
2nd shift 2pm to 10 pm Monday- Friday
3rd shift 10pm to 6am Sunday - Thursday
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
