Overview:
The Surgical Technologist will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in the operating room environment. They must possess strong clinical knowledge in all aspects of the operating room focused on, Orthopedics, Spine and Hand procedures. Willing to have a flexible work schedule and duties which include ancillary duties such as cleaning rooms between cases, stocking, and helping in Sterile Processing. Must understand the importance of teamwork, and a positive attitude, in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must have completed an accredited training course with completion
- Certified Surgical Technologist

Duties:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery
- Set up surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist the surgical team during procedures
- Maintain a sterile field during surgery
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures
- Monitor and manage surgical equipment
- Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
Requirements:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Experience in patient care within an acute care setting
- Familiarity with pediatric surgical procedures is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including Level I and Level II Trauma Centers
- Strong understanding of infection control practices
