Seeking qualified Preschool Teacher to work with our students ages 2-5 years old. Depending on experience, we are looking for a teacher in our 2-3 year old class and 4-5 year old class.
Provide a safe and developmentally appropriate learning-enriched environment that complies with Title 22 policies and procedures. Nurtures children, prepares activities, daily schedule, and meals. Follows health and safety guidelines. Prepares student with Kinder-readiness by providing age-appropriate activities. Experience in curriculum planning that focuses on different areas of child development by using different approaches in teaching/learning styles through creative curriculum. Experience in observation, assessment, and individualized learning plans. Confident in communicating with families and holding Parent-Teacher conferences twice a year.
Knowledge of ITERS, ECERS, ASQ, DRDP, Quality Counts, and Brightwheel platform a plus! Valid Adult and Pediatric CPR and First Aid certificate. Teaching Permit highly desirable.
Required Classes for Teachers:
Minimum of 12 ECE units for Lead Teachers.

Job Duties include:
-Acting as Lead Teacher for classroom
-Creating weekly and monthly curriculum
-Preparing for and executing daily activities and provocation tables
-Prepping classroom for daily instruction
-Following cleaning schedule in accordance to center/ COVID and licensing guidelines
-Covering breaks and lunches for other classrooms daily
-Acting as Substitute for other classrooms if needed
-Weekly observation and assessment of children and collecting data for child portfolios and Parent-Teacher conferences
-Responsible for maintaining Parent Boards/ Classroom bulletin boards/ Parent communication
-Responsible for daily sign-in and out/ parent communication for classroom in Brightwheel app
-Responsible for class newsletter
-Monthly meetings with Director
-Required to attend Staff Development Days
-Will be required to attend professional development training courses/ workshops/ ECE courses pertinent to current job in order acquire Teaching permits
-Maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing learning environment
