Job Summary
Universe Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate and organized Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing non-skilled home health agency. This position focuses on supervisory nursing visits, and client assessments.
This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys working independently while making a meaningful impact in the community.
Responsibilities
- Complete initial nursing assessments and supervisory visits for home care clients.
- Develop, review, and update individualized plans of care.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- The Registered Nurse (RN) will conduct two in-person supervisory visits annually and complete a telephonic or video supervisory assessment every 60 days to monitor the client's condition, assess the quality and effectiveness of services, address any concerns or changes in the client's needs, provide clinical oversight to home care staff, and ensure compliance with the client's plan of care and all applicable agency and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong assessment and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Home health experience preferred but not required.
- Experience with PASSPORT, Medicaid Waiver, or non-skilled home care is a plus.
