Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior IT Support to assist with day-to-day technology support for our healthcare agency and management operations. This role offers hands-on experience supporting clinical and administrative users, troubleshooting technical issues, and working with platforms that handle protected health information (PHI) in a HIPAA-regulated environment.
This position is ideal for candidates interested in IT support, healthcare IT, or systems administration, who demonstrate professionalism, curiosity, and respect for data privacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to clinical, administrative, and field staff
- Assist with setup, configuration, and deployment of:
- Laptops, desktops, peripherals, and mobile devices
- Troubleshot issues related to:
- Windows 11
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
- Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic network connectivity
- Assist with user account setup and access management (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Google Workspace, Apple Business)
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and contractors
- Assist staff with healthcare-specific applications and platforms (training provided)
- Maintain accurate documentation, asset inventory, and IT procedures
- Use ticketing/help desk tools to track and resolve issues
- Follow HIPAA, security, and data privacy policies at all times
- Escalate technical or security-related issues appropriately

Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Or a related field
- Basic knowledge of:
- Windows 11
- Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365
- Computer hardware fundamentals
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Willingness to learn and follow established policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with HHAX or similar home care / healthcare management platforms
- Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and handling of protected health information (PHI)
- Previous help desk, IT support, or technical customer service experience is a plus
- Familiarity with:
- Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- Ticketing systems
- Mobile device setup or basic troubleshooting
- Relevant coursework or certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.)
- Mandarin Chinese language skills are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
