Are you an experienced pool technician ready to take the next step in your career? If you know the ins and outs of pool equipment, enjoy solving complex puzzles, and want to step into a leadership role, join our team as a Head Service Technician. We are looking for a hardworking, knowledgeable professional who loves working outdoors and is ready to lead by example in the pool service industry.
You already have the skills, now we need you to help guide our team. As our Head Tech, you will not only handle field service and repairs but also serve as a crucial information and training resource for our growing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Training: Act as the go-to expert for the service team. You will train new technicians, mentor junior staff, and share in providing on-call troubleshooting support when they run into roadblocks in the field.
Professional Development: Seek out events, trainings, and resources to improve professional development for the team. All attendance, travel, and resources required will be paid for by Front Range Recreation once approved.
Expert Maintenance & Installations: Perform routine maintenance, advanced repairs, and full installations. Whether it’s diagnosing a tricky heater or installing a high-tech automation system, you’ll lead the charge in keeping things running smoothly.
Active Field Operations: This isn't a desk job. You’ll be out in the field, driving to and from over 40 different commercial locations to ensure every site gets the expert attention it needs. No two days are the same.
Safety & Compliance Inspections: Perform thorough inspections to make sure all facilities and equipment are safe, healthy, and meet all the official "fine print" for commercial health and safety standards.
Brand Expertise: Utilize your hands-on experience with all major industry brands - like Jandy/Fluidra, Pentair, Hayward, and Raypak - to diagnose issues efficiently and find the best solutions for our clients.
Qualifications:
You Have Proven Experience: You have a solid background in commercial pool service, equipment repair, and installation. You know how to troubleshoot the major industry brands.
You're a Natural Guide: You have the patience and communication skills to train newer techs and act as a reliable information resource for the team.
You’re Hands-On: You’re highly comfortable using power tools, handling complex repairs, and don’t mind getting your hands dirty.
You’re Physically Active: You can comfortably lift 50+ lbs and enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions.
You Enjoy Driving: You have a valid driver’s license, a clean record, and feel confident pulling a trailer.
The Right Mindset: You are organized, show up on time, and take pride in elevating the skills of the people around you.
Age Requirement:Must be 25 or older (for insurance purposes).

JOB DETAILS:
Pay - Full Time
Total compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 (Salary + Commission + Bonus)
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
