Cellar & Flame Steakhouse is looking for an experienced bartender to join our team in downtown Traverse City.
We are looking for someone who is confident behind the bar, understands elevated service, and can provide a polished guest experience while keeping up with a busy dinner service.
The right candidate should have strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer, along with the ability to work quickly and accurately without sacrificing hospitality.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or upscale bar
- Strong cocktail and spirits knowledge
- Wine knowledge and the ability to confidently make recommendations
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Ability to manage both bar guests and service-bar tickets during busy periods
- Strong organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail
- Dependability and a team-first attitude
- Availability for evenings and weekends
This is not an entry-level bartending position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of the bar and delivering a consistently high level of service.
Compensation: Hourly wage plus tips and tip share, with strong earning potential based on experience and schedule.
