ACG Air Compressor is a growing Atlas Copco distributor serving manufacturers throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. We specialize in industrial air compressors, dryers, piping systems, nitrogen generators, vacuum systems, and preventative maintenance programs.
We’re looking for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, uncovering opportunities, and helping manufacturers improve their operations. This is not a high-pressure, transactional sales job. Our customers rely on us as trusted advisors, and we’re looking for someone who wants to build that kind of reputation.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new business within an assigned territory.
- Build relationships with manufacturing plants, maintenance managers, engineers, and plant leadership.
- Follow up on leads and customer inquiries.
- Generate proposals for new equipment, upgrades, rentals, and service agreements.
- Conduct on-site customer visits to identify opportunities.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
- Work closely with our service team to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline and consistently follow up on opportunities.
- Represent ACG professionally at customer sites and industry events.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven B2B outside sales experience.
- Experience selling industrial equipment, technical products, or industrial services is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable managing your own schedule.
- Organized and disciplined with follow-up.
- Mechanical aptitude or the ability to learn technical products quickly.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.
