Here at S&D Saw & Tool Co., Inc, we are looking for an individual to join our team as a Saw Blade Inspector. Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Inspect incoming saw blades by verifying blade dimensions, tooth thickness/kerf, straightness, the overall condition of the blade and identifying defects or damage that would indicate service work that would require retipping, sharpening, or replacement.
Will be responsible for writing up service work of customer order including tip replacement, shoulder repairs/hammering.
Must be punctual, dependable and have the ability to work well with others. The candidate must be detail oriented and able to work with precision.
This position offers a great advancement opportunity. Wage increases based upon performance.
- Keen eye for detail is a big plus
- Must have troubleshooting skills
- No experience necessary – we will train a motivated candidate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
