Awaken Therapy Center is a boutique practice co-founded by Dr. Lauren Costine and Vanessa Friedman, created to be a sanctuary for both clients and clinicians. We specialize in depth-oriented, intersectionally-affirming, trauma-informed therapy, and our vision is to foster healing not only for individuals and couples, but for the therapists who hold space for them.
We are currently seeking licensed therapists (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD/PhD) to join our small but vibrant team.

Position Details
- Employment: W-2 employee
- Caseload: Build a steady stream of clients without the stress of private practice marketing and constant networking, so you can focus on caring for your clients
- Recession-proof: Clients are guaranteed even when the market has a downturn and clients can’t afford high private-pay fees anymore
- Pay: Competitive within insurance-based models; supplemented by professional development support and meaningful benefits
- Location: Los Angeles (hybrid in-person + telehealth)

- Flexible schedule - therapists are able to determine their weekly schedule – can work 2, 3 4, or 5 days a week

- We cover all of your overhead including rent, marketing, insurance verification, and billing, supplies, credentialing with insurance companies, malpractice insurance, etc.
- Full-time Administrative staff so clinicians can spend more time seeing patients
Who We’re Looking For
- Licensed LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD in California

Compensation
· Strong earning potential. Awaken Therapy Center is committed to compensating you for your talents, hard work, and passion for this work. We offer competitive pay, based on licensure, experience, and years in the field.
· We take most insurance. Our credentialing staff will assist through the entire insurance paneling process.
· Ability to make upwards of $125,000 per year. $75-$200 per hour depending on your license type, insurance or private-pay, experience, and client fee.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
