As we continue to grow across Texas, we're seeking a Business Development Representative to expand referral relationships and increase access to care throughout East Texas.
Position Overview
The Business Development Representative serves as the primary outreach and referral development professional for an assigned territory. This role focuses on building relationships, educating referral partners, supporting admissions growth, and helping individuals access treatment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain referral relationships throughout East Texas
- Call on hospitals, therapists, physicians, universities, community organizations, and other referral sources
- Conduct presentations, facility tours, and outreach meetings
- Represent MTR at networking events and community functions
- Collaborate with admissions to facilitate client referrals
- Respond to treatment inquiries from referral partners, clients, and families
- Maintain outreach activity and referral documentation within CRM systems
- Participate in weekly business development meetings and territory planning
Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral health, healthcare sales, admissions, outreach, or business development preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and professional
- Experience utilizing CRM systems for activity tracking and relationship management
- Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment and recovery services preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout East Texas
- Occasional evening or weekend events as needed
- If a former MTR client, must be at least two years removed from date of service

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
