Commercial Electricians – Gastonia, NC
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Commercial Electricians in Gastonia, NC! Join our commercial project with steady work and overtime available.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $27–$31/hour (DOE)
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Schedule: 40–58 hours per week
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Approximately 6 months
Job Responsibilities
As a Commercial Electrician, you will:
- Bend, install, and run EMT conduit
- Pull wire and install electrical systems
- Install MC cable and complete rough-in work
- Install light fixtures, devices, and electrical equipment
- Wire and terminate electrical panels
- Troubleshoot electrical systems
- Read and work from blueprints and electrical drawings
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of commercial electrical experience
- Strong experience bending and installing EMT conduit
- Experience pulling wire and installing MC cable
- Experience with rough-in and finish electrical work
- Ability to wire, terminate, and troubleshoot panels and electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints is preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work from ladders and lifts as needed
- Must have all standard electrical hand tools
- Proper use of PPE, including:
- Steel-toe boots
- Hard hat
- Safety glasses
- High-visibility safety vest
- Work gloves
Additional Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site
- Must be dependable and ready to work
