Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Women's Health Physician specializing in Reproductive Healthcare to join our multidisciplinary team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive reproductive health services, including family planning, gynecological care, including terminations. Your expertise will empower women to make informed health decisions while ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care. Also to provide medical and procedural abortion services in accordance with state and federal regulations
Duties
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including physical examinations and reproductive health assessments, utilizing advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic.
- Provide family planning counseling, contraceptive management, and pregnancy-related care with a focus on patient education and autonomy.
- Perform specialized procedures such as intrauterine device (IUD) insertions, tubal ligations, and other minimally invasive reproductive interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including endocrinologists, radiologists, and mental health professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Manage inpatient and outpatient care for women with complex reproductive health conditions, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and clinical research protocols.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques like ultrasound for diagnostic evaluation of reproductive organs and fetal development.
- Stay current with advancements in reproductive endocrinology, maternal-fetal medicine, and related specialties to deliver evidence-based care.
Skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems such as Epic and other electronic health record platforms for efficient documentation and patient management.
- Strong knowledge of reproductive endocrinology, family medicine, obstetrics & gynecology (Ob/Gyn), and maternal-fetal medicine principles.
- Experience with medical imaging modalities including ultrasound and CT scans relevant to reproductive health assessments.
- Skilled in performing procedures like suturing, catheterization, and basic surgical techniques within a sterile environment.
- Familiarity with perioperative care, post-operative management, and discharge planning for surgical patients.
- Ability to interpret laboratory results related to endocrinology, immunology, and pathology for accurate diagnosis.
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication, health coaching, and patient assessment. Pay: $60,426.45 - $100,000.00 per year
