INGU is a Calgary/Houston based pipeline inspection company. INGU’s Pipers® inline inspection solution provides full visibility across all pipeline assets, improving planning, decision-making, and overall operational control. Our patented solution pairs a baseball-sized, free-floating multi-sensor device with artificial intelligence powered data analytics.
Pipers® are designed for use in any pipeline configuration and can be deployed under operational conditions, ensuring continuance of service and the ability to act where and when needed. In a single inspection, Pipers® can provide information on leaks and air pockets, deposits, and wall condition.
What we are looking for
INGU is currently seeking a dedicated Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Houston. In this role you keep our marketing engine running day to day. You represent INGU at conferences, you keep our marketing materials and website up to date, and you support the sales team with CRM upkeep and lead follow-up. The split is roughly seventy percent marketing and events, and thirty percent sales support.
Specific tasks of the Sales and Marketing Coordinator include:
- Act as the main point of contact for all conferences, from booking through execution
- Track deadlines for abstract, paper, and presentation submissions, and make sure that every submission goes out on time
- Prepare and coordinate booth materials and setup, including shipping and drayage, and support pre-event and post-event marketing
- Order and manage marketing materials such as giveaways, brochures, banners, and product samples for internal use and for company partners, tracking stock levels and flagging shortages in good time
- Keep marketing materials up to date, including technical spec sheets and case studies, consistent in brand messaging and visuals, and available both digitally and in print
- Own the day-to-day upkeep of the company website, making basic updates directly and coordinating larger changes as needed to keep the site accurate and live
- Keep our Zoho CRM up to date, including logging leads captured at conferences and follow up on leads from conferences and other marketing activities
- Handle basic customer and prospect questions, maintaining strong follow-up discipline so that nothing is missed or delayed
What you bring to the table
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple ongoing tasks and deadlines, with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with, or willingness to learn, our CRM system (Zoho)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop preferred
- Comfortable liaising with external vendors and agencies such as website developers and print and promotional suppliers
- Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences and events
- Prior experience in a marketing coordinator, sales support, or event coordination role is a plus
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
