We are an established single doctor oral surgery practice located in Duxbury, MA. We are driven to provide the best quality oral surgery experience to our patients and have fun doing it. Our team is seeking an oral surgical assistant to temporarily fill in for assistant out on extended maternity leave from August through the end of October . Wednesday and Friday from 8am -2pm
Ideal candidates will have a compassionate and outgoing personality, strong work ethic and be dependable. Outstanding communication skills, team mentality and attention to detail are critical. Pay level will reflect the candidates experience and abilities.
Assisting Duties Include:
Greeting patients upon arrival and escorting them to operatory and preparing them for consultation/ surgery.
Taking Radiographs
Reviewing medical history with patient and entering info/ vitals into electronic medical record.
Stocking supplies & preparing surgical room for procedure set up/ break down.
Set up / break down and sterilization processing of instrument kits for surgery
Assisting Dr. Branca in surgery, passing instruments and suctioning
Monitoring patients vitals during IV sedation and N20 procedures
Recovering patients following IV sedation
Reviewing post op instructions with patient following procedure.
Requirements:
One year oral surgery assisting experience (Preferred)
Up to date BLS ( Required)
Radiology Certification (Required)
Current Dental Assisting License issued by The Board of Registration in Dentistry of MA (Required)

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
