Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with parking procedures
- Monitor parking lot activity to ensure safety and security for all vehicles and pedestrians
- Operate standard passenger cars to guide vehicles safely within the lot when needed
- Conduct regular inspections of the parking area to identify hazards, enforce rules, and prevent theft or vandalism
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving barriers or equipment during lot maintenance or setup
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management to address concerns or conflicts promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking area, including outdoor work responsibilities in various weather conditions
- Support parking management activities by recording vehicle entries/exits, managing numeracy tasks related to payments, and ensuring compliance with policies
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating standard passenger cars confidently
- Previous outdoor work experience preferred; ability to work in various weather conditions is essential
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience in conflict management to handle customer concerns professionally and calmly
- Knowledge of parking regulations and general parking management practices is advantageous
