Inventory Materials Management Clerk
Environment: Healthcare / Hospital Supply Chain
Location: Dallas, TX, 75231
Job Type: 13 Week contract – Potential to extend.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift
Pay: $20-22/hour
Position Overview
Prolink is seeking a Materials Management Clerk to support a healthcare facility supply chain team. This role is responsible for maintaining stockroom inventory, receiving and distributing supplies, and supporting supply tracking processes to ensure smooth daily operations within a Hospital/Healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications (2+ Years hands on Experience)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience maintaining and organizing stockrooms or inventory environments in a healthcare setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Computer skills and experience with inventory tracking /data entry (Excel, Google sheets, GHX, Vizient, WMS, ERP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, SAP, Workday, and/or Dynamics)
- Willingness to lift up to 20 lbs regularly as needed.
- Willingness to bend, stoop, push, pull, or crouch as needed.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Valid Driver’s license
- Employment contingent on successful completion of background check and drug screen
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming supplies against purchase orders
- Distribute supplies to appropriate departments and locations within the facility
- Maintain stockroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Assist with inventory tracking and participate in physical inventory counts
- Process and forward purchase orders and packing slips to Accounts Payable
- Track and document usage of supplies for billing purposes
- Maintain accurate records within internal systems
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and confidentiality practices
