Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Installer/Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and finishing custom cabinets and woodwork for residential projects. Your expertise in carpentry, woodworking, and construction will ensure each project meets our high standards of quality and precision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while honing your craft in a collaborative environment.
Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately build and install cabinetry.
- Use hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines to cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood components.
- Install cabinets, doors, trim, siding, fixtures, and other woodwork on-site with precision.
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for framing, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, and restoration work.
- Ensure power tool safety protocols are followed during all phases of construction and installation.
- Assist with remodeling projects including flooring installation, mold remediation, and fixture assembly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards at all times.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating and interpreting construction plans.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation.
- Experience with residential carpentry, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and woodworking techniques.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and heavy lifting equipment.
- Familiarity with various wood construction materials such as siding, moldings, doors, and fixtures.
- Ability to perform tasks related to plastering, stucco application, caulking, rebar installation, and reconditioning/restoration industry practices.
- Knowledge of power tool safety procedures combined with hands-on experience with power tools including saws, drills, sanders etc.
- Experience in fixture hanging, door hanging, flooring installation, remodeling projects, and handyman tasks.
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings from construction plans or specifications.
- Previous construction site experience with a focus on safety compliance.

Pay: $25.98 - $31.29 per hour
