Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Food Runner to join our hot pot restaurant team. The Food Runner plays a key role in delivering food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately, assisting servers, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. This position is essential to ensuring smooth service and an excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure all hot pot ingredients, soup bases, and side dishes are presented correctly
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers regarding orders and special requests
- Assist servers by refilling water, clearing used plates, and resetting tables
- Help maintain the cleanliness of service stations, dining areas, and walkways
- Support opening and closing side work as assigned
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Assist with restocking supplies when needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30–40 lbs
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic English communication skills preferred (bilingual is a plus)
Work Experience
- Entry-level position; training will be provided
- Experience as a food runner, busser, or server assistant is a plus
