Overview - Event Contracted Brand Ambasadors

We’re seeking an energetic and dynamic Event Brand Ambassador to represent our brand at various events, retail locations, and community gatherings. This position is a contract-based, per‑event opportunity. As a Brand Ambassador / Event Marketer, you will operate as an independent contractor and will be required to complete a W‑9. Compensation will be reported via 1099 at year-end.
You will be paid hourly for the hours worked at each contracted event, and scheduling will vary based on event needs.
Duties
- Act as the enthusiastic face of the brand at events, retail stores, and promotional activities
- Demonstrate products through engaging demos and explain features clearly to customers
- Collect valuable data from customer interactions to inform marketing strategies
- Manage social media accounts by posting content, responding to comments, and increasing online engagement
- Build strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional in-person service and answering questions
- Promote products actively through sampling, giveaways, and direct outreach to boost sales
- Support event marketing efforts by setting up displays, coordinating logistics, and ensuring brand consistency
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, address objections confidently, and convert interest into sales
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or retail environments is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak confidently in public and engage diverse audiences
- Bilingual abilities are a plus for reaching broader communities
- Proven experience managing social media platforms and creating compelling content
- Ability to perform product demos effectively while highlighting key features and benefits
- Knowledge of retail store product layouts and technical proficiency with digital tools or POS systems
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Experience in event marketing or promotional campaigns is preferred
- Capable of handling sales objections tactfully while maintaining positive customer relationships
- Ability to work flexible hours at various locations including in-person customer service settings
