Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the quick service fast food restaurant or fine dining sectors, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires effective team management skills and the ability to maintain high standards of food safety and operational efficiency.
Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of the restaurant or bar operations, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and skilled team.
- Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to ensure profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Utilize Aloha POS systems for accurate transaction processing and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar managerial role within the quick service fast food restaurant, bar, or fine dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is preferred.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse workforce.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
