Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to Sonora Grill’s recipe and quality standards.
- Operate within and support a small team of line cooks during service.
- Communicate with efficiency and clarity to ensure smooth coordination between stations.
- Assist with prep work, station transitions, and plating as needed.
- Stay cool, focused, and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a line cook encouraged but not required.
- Confident communicator (must speak and understand English clearly).
- Must have reliable transportation and consistent punctuality.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead by example with a “help-first” team mentality—no room for ego.
- Passion for food, hospitality, and setting a high standard every shift.
