We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to individual needs.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focusing on issues like grief, addiction, PTSD, gender identity, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, chronic pain management, and behavioral challenges.
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies.
- Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring accuracy in medical terminology and coding for billing purposes such as CPT coding.
- Engage in case management activities including patient assessment, treatment coordination, research participation, and data collection to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Facilitate intake sessions to gather comprehensive client histories and establish rapport for ongoing therapy engagement.
- Collaborate with medical professionals regarding psychopharmacology considerations when applicable and ensure integrated patient care.
- Conduct telehealth sessions utilizing secure platforms to expand access to mental health services across diverse populations.
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Therapist (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) with current state certification required.
- Proven experience delivering psychotherapy in outpatient or inpatient settings with diverse client groups.
- Demonstrated expertise in working with children and families as well as individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong background in crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management strategies, and trauma-informed care including PTSD treatment.
- Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), medical documentation standards under HIPAA regulations, and CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Experience providing telehealth services using secure digital platforms is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques and grief counseling methods is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a client-centered approach focused on recovery and well-being. Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
