Duties
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and cash handling
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, ensuring quality standards are met at all times
- Upsell menu items and suggestive sell to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving in accordance with health regulations
- Manage cash register transactions accurately while balancing cash drawers at shift end
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments
- Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Familiarity with food preparation, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Experience in retail math or grocery store operations is a plus for handling inventory or sales data
