So Cal Cargo & Freight LLC is looking for dependable 16FT Box Truck Owner-Operators to join our growing carrier network. If you own your own truck and enjoy the freedom of choosing when you work, this opportunity is for you!
You'll haul freight using leading load board and delivery apps, giving you access to consistent local and regional loads throughout Southern California.
Compensation
- 75% Driver / 25% Company Pay Split
- Weekly direct deposits

Top-performing drivers can earn excellent weekly income based on availability and completed loads.
What You'll Do
- Accept and complete loads through transportation apps
- Pick up and deliver freight safely and on time
- Upload proof of delivery (POD) and required documentation
- Communicate professionally with dispatch when needed
- Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after trips
- Provide excellent customer service at pickup and delivery locations
Requirements
- Own or lease a 16FT Box Truck with a liftgate
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record
- Active MC & DOT Authority (if applicable to your operation)
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Ability to use mobile freight apps
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Insurance Requirements
Drivers must maintain active commercial insurance, including:
- Auto Liability
- Cargo Insurance
- General Liability
- Physical Damage Coverage
Insurance must remain active throughout your partnership with So Cal Cargo & Freight LLC.

- Experience with app-based freight platforms (Amazon Relay, Cargomatic, Dispatch, Roadie XD, Curri, or similar)
- Knowledge of Southern California delivery routes
- Strong communication and time-management skills
