We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Kitchen Team Member. As a member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the manager
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Stock inventory and rotate food items to ensure freshness
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food service industry or hospitality preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and cooking techniques (we will teach you)
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as by yourself and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic understanding of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
