Registered Nurse Long Term Care
Location: Lewiston, Maine
Pay Rate: $53.00 to $56.00/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night shifts, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Lewiston, Maine. This role supports post-acute, long-term care, skilled nursing, dementia care, and transitional rehabilitation residents while helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic care environment.
Responsibilities
Provide direct and indirect nursing care to LTC, SNF, and post-acute residents.
Support residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, rehabilitation, and long-term care needs.
Assess resident condition and respond to changes appropriately.
Administer medications, treatments, IV therapy, and wound care as ordered.
Collaborate with care providers to support individualized resident care plans.
Communicate clearly with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC.
Float to other units as needed based on facility needs.
Support a safe, respectful, and home-like care environment.
Requirements
Active Maine or compact Registered Nurse license required.
BLS/BCLS certification required.
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
LTC, SNF, post-acute, rehab, or dementia care experience preferred.
Associate degree in Nursing required.
EPIC experience preferred.
Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
Must be flexible to support 24/7 coverage needs.
Candidate must reside outside a 50-mile radius.
Candidates with licensure hits or previous employment at the facility will not be considered.
Holiday coverage may be required.
