About the Role
As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will play a vital role in transforming raw sheet metal into precision components that meet exact engineering standards. By leveraging your expertise in CNC equipment operation and setup, you will ensure high-quality output while maintaining efficient production workflows.
Responsibilities-
Execute complex metal forming tasks using CNC press brakes, turret punch presses, and laser cutting machinery to achieve precise dimensional specifications.

Perform frequent machine changeovers and setups to accommodate diverse product lines and material requirements.

Conduct routine preventative maintenance on assigned equipment to maximize uptime and operational reliability.

Interpret intricate mechanical blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure all parts align with specified tolerances.

Utilize precision measurement tools, including calipers, protractors, and squares, to verify component accuracy.

Manage shop floor documentation and order processing through digital manufacturing execution systems and standard office software.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while actively participating in ongoing safety initiatives.
Qualifications-
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating and programming CNC fabrication equipment.

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings.

Proficiency in using precision hand tools and performing mathematical conversions between fractions and decimals.

Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently throughout the shift.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently to meet quality benchmarks.

High school diploma or equivalent educational background.

Experience with metal stamping, forming, and progressive die processes.

Prior experience utilizing MES software or similar digital inventory management tools.

Familiarity with Cincinnati press brake systems or similar industrial machinery.
