Duties
- Manage your own schedule and client appointments within the rented space, ensuring seamless service delivery
- Provide expert beauty treatments such as hair styling, nail care, facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermal fillers, Botox, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in your designated area following health regulations and salon protocols
- Engage with clients through exceptional customer service, building lasting relationships and encouraging repeat business
- Utilize salon management software like Millennium or MINDBODY to book appointments, process payments, and track client preferences
- Promote your services via social media management and product demos to attract new clients and grow your brand
- Upsell retail products and additional treatments to enhance client satisfaction and increase revenue
- Stay current with industry trends such as color theory, hair extensions, tattooing, straight razor shaving, and advanced skincare techniques
Requirements
- Proven experience in the beauty industry with skills in management of client appointments and service delivery
- Knowledge of salon software platforms such as Millennium or MINDBODY for efficient operations
- Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Expertise in various beauty treatments including hair styling, nail care, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermal fillers, Botox treatment, esthetic laser procedures, dermabrasion, deep tissue massage, and med spa services
- Ability to uphold sanitation standards rigorously and maintain a clean working environment
- Experience with social media management for marketing purposes and product promotion
- Background in retail sales with a focus on upselling premium products and services
- Certification or licensing in cosmetology or esthetician specialties preferred; additional skills like tattooing or barbering are a plus
- Hospitality mindset with excellent guest services skills to ensure client satisfaction at every visit
