Cataler North America, a Toyota affiliate, is currently seeking an IT Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate is an experienced IT professional who enjoys developing people, managing projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position serves as the primary leader for IT operations. This candidate is expected to balance hands-on technical work with team leadership, planning, and coordination responsibilities.
The position hours are: M-F, 8a - 5p
Job duties include:
Lead and supervise daily operations of the IT team supporting a growing automotive manufacturer.
Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement.
Coordinate, prioritize, and delegate work assignments across Infrastructure, Systems Administration, Help Desk, and related IT resources.
Design, implement, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and success of IT initiatives.
Drive and lead projects from planning through implementation, including server deployments, virtualization initiatives and network upgrades.
Provide leadership and guidance to IT staff while fostering professional growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Drive and lead the support of enterprise infrastructure including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, networking equipment, wireless infrastructure, and cloud-connected services.
Guide the creation of documentation, standards, procedures, and best practices for IT support.
Analyze infrastructure performance, identify risks, and recommend improvements to increase reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
Participate in advanced IT troubleshooting and escalation support for complex technical issues affecting business operations.
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to support future business objectives and modernization efforts.
Assist with budgeting, vendor management, contract reviews, and technology roadmap planning.
Support and ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and business continuity policies, procedures, and international standards associated with such management systems.
Requirements:
Experience administering Windows Server Standard and Datacenter.
Experience with managing Microsoft-V or equivalent virtualization platforms.
Experience with enterprise networking including switching, routing, wireless, VPN, and next-generation firewall technologies.
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration including Azure/Entra ID, Exchange Online, sharePoint, and Teams.
Ability to lead IT projects from design to deployment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Experience mentoring, coaching, or supervising technical personnel.
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
