Remote Licensed Therapist (DC/Maryland/Virginia) | 1099 Contractor | 18-20 Clinical Hours Per Week
Dr. Chanda Reynolds, LLC is a growing telehealth mental health practice specializing in culturally responsive care for a diverse group of adolescents and adults in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area. We are expanding our team of independent clinicians and seeking experienced therapists ready to carry an active caseload.
This is a 1099 independent contractor role. No supervision is provided. Applicants must hold fully independent licensure.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a caseload of 18-20 clinical hours per week via telehealth
- Provide individual therapy to adolescents and/or adults
- Facilitate group therapy sessions as scheduled
- Complete intake assessments and treatment plans
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in SimplePractice
- Utilize evidence-based modalities (CBT, trauma-informed care, DBT, etc.)
Required Qualifications:
- Fully independent license required: LCSW-C, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC
- LMSW, LGSW, or any associate-level license will not be considered
- Active licensure in DC and/or Maryland required. Virginia licensure a plus
- Minimum 2 years post-licensure clinical experience
- Experience carrying an outpatient caseload of 15+ clients per week
- Strong independent clinical judgment — no supervision provided
- Commitment to culturally responsive care serving Black and Brown communities
Compensation:
- 60/40 split — contractor retains 60% of collected revenue
- Estimated annual earnings $55,000-$109,000 based on caseload and session rate
- This is a 1099 position — benefits are not provided
