Mid-South Construction Company, LLC is looking for a skilled welder/fabricator to join team. Must be able to cut and join metals with precision from technical drawings and verbal instruction. The ideal candidate can work solo or as a team.
Pay is based on proven experience, listed amount is starting range. A 90-day probation period is required.
Requirements:
*Must have fabricating and welding experience. This is not a factory and you will not be making the same thing every day.
*Must be able to produce quality welds, every time, and be productive every day.
*Strong knowledge of all types of welding processes including flux-core mig & stick, solid mig, aluminum mig.
*Familiar with Stainless, Aluminum, and Mild Steel.
*Knowledge of working with welding tools and equipment.
*Skilled in operating power and hand tools.
*Ability to understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature and have no issue asking questions if needed.
*Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
*Inspect manufactured parts have the required parts, match the provided drawings exactly, and meet quality control standards.
*Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
*Able to lift in excess of fifty pounds.
*Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)

Typical Working Hours: 7am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday, earlier start times and over-time may be required depending on work load and schedule.
Experience:
Experienced TIG / MIG Welder
Experience Welding Aluminum, Stainless, and Mild Steel
Fabricating Experience - able to read drawing and assembly/weld
