Concept 2 Design is a full-service residential interior design studio serving clients across South Florida. For 18 years, we've built our reputation on layered, intentional interiors ranging from transitional to contemporary spaces with real depth. We're a small, tight-knit team, which means every person on it has real impact on the work we put into the world.
The Role
We're looking for a Design Associate to grow alongside our studio. This is a hands-on role for someone with a solid design foundation who's ready to sharpen their technical skills and build toward more ownership over time. From providing AutoCAD support to assisting on our Design Projects from beginning to end, you'll be working directly alongside the Principal Designer on real projects for discerning clients, with genuine room to grow.
What You'll Do
- Update and revise AutoCAD drawings: floor plans, elevations, millwork details, etc as projects develop
- Assist with material boards, product sourcing, and presentation preparation
- Support vendor communication and coordination under the guidance of the Principal Designer and Project Manager
- Join client meetings and site visits, with growing opportunities to contribute directly
- Help maintain project documentation and internal design standards
- Support punch lists and installation days
What You Bring
- 2-3 years of experience working at a residential interior design firm or design related company
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD: comfortable navigating and editing existing drawing sets
- Comfortable with technology: confident navigating apps and working within Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A strong eye for detail and an appreciation for considered, layered design
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple moving pieces
- Eagerness to grow into more responsibility over time
- A flexible, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and willing to jump in wherever needed, no task too small.

Schedule: Part-time, 20–25 hours/week | In-office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday | Remote Wednesday | Fridays and Weekends off
Compensation: $22–26/hour, 1099 contract position
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
