Duties
- Load and unload items from trucks or vans, ensuring that all items are handled with care.
- Operate dollies and other equipment as needed to facilitate moving tasks.
- Assist in packing and unpacking items for clients, ensuring everything is organized and secure.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients throughout the moving process.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse,moving truck or moving area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in moving is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 75 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Ability to climb stairs daily
- Valid driver's license
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
- Ability to pass any required background checks or screenings prior to employment.
