Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces regularly
- Care for floors through sweeping, polishing, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to ensure a pristine appearance
- Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests or residents
- Assist with basic cooking tasks or meal prep when required to support overall hospitality services
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for all occupants
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and cleaning techniques across various surfaces and materials
- Experience with carpet cleaning and floor care equipment to maintain flooring quality
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously with guests or residents
- Ability to manage laundry operations efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or housekeeping management is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
