Duties
- Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Support food delivery from kitchen to tables, ensuring proper handling and presentation of dishes
- Perform cleaning duties including wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and sanitizing work areas to uphold health standards
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies following safe lifting practices
- Manage food handling responsibilities with care, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations in the food industry
- Support catering events by setting up tables, serving guests, and assisting with event logistics
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure smooth service flow and exceptional hospitality
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant service or hospitality is preferred
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to sanitation standards in food service environments
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and kitchen experience is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a friendly demeanor
