Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift management and ensuring smooth workflow
- Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety
- Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to ensure compliance with health regulations and company standards
- Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Train new team members and provide ongoing staff development through coaching and performance feedback
- Ensure adherence to food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen procedures
- Support budgeting efforts by monitoring costs related to food production, labor, and supplies
- Collaborate with management on marketing initiatives, special events like banquets or catering services, and customer engagement strategies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Square; cash handling proficiency required
- Familiarity with inventory control practices and food safety regulations
- Previous experience in casual dining or quick service & fast food restaurants is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate a diverse team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, and operational planning is preferred
