Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Support kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking tasks
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the TOAST POS system
- Help with stocking supplies and inventory management
- Sanitize kitchen equipment and utensils
- Aid in maintaining food quality standards
- Assist in serving customers and upselling menu items
Skills
- Experience in a grocery store or quick-service fast-food restaurant is beneficial
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling purposes
- Responsible and punctual person
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- able to work in a team and good language for communication
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Willingness to learn and help wherever needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Work Location: In person
