St. Anna Catholic School is looking for a dynamic and caring individual rooted in the Catholic Faith to join our Faculty.We are currently hiring for an Elementary Education teacher.Responsibilities: The Educators responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: Teach, reinforce, remediate, and ensure mastery of academic content with individual students, small groups of students, and whole class(es) of students;Implement curricula and activities to meet academic standards;Design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards;Use assessment data to refine curriculum and modify instructional practices;Communicate effectively and consistently with students, families, and colleagues;Provide support, accommodations, and attention to all students;Participate in curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions during and outside of the school day;Ensure students are engaged and invested in the classroom, managing behavior and providing incentives;Advanced skills with the use of technology for learning;Experience with Google Apps for Education; including Google ClassroomBe accountable for students mastery of academic standards; andComplete other duties as assigned.Skills, Characteristics, Educational Background, and Experience: The ideal candidate will be: Passionate commitment to Catholic Education and St. Anna Catholic School;Desire to work with St. Anna Catholic School students and families;Commitment to the academic and personal success of students and families;Ability to succeed in a fast-paced classroom/ school environment while remaining calm and focused when faced with unexpected challenges;Recognize the importance of collaborating with school and district colleagues, and participating in ongoing professional development;Be committed to continuously reflecting on and improving their practice as part of a professional community to ensure high levels of achievement for all students; Have an effective approach to utilizing technology in the classroom.
