We are seeking an experienced, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated Pet Groomer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who works confidently on their own, maintains high grooming standards, and provides exceptional care to every dog.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full‑service grooming, including bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and breed‑specific styling
- Manage a daily schedule and groom approximately 6 dogs within an 8‑hour shift
- Deliver consistent, high‑quality grooming with a focus on safety and comfort
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding grooming needs and coat condition
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe grooming environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional grooming experience
- Strong knowledge of breed clips and ability to execute standard patterns
- Proficient hand‑scissoring skills with attention to finish work
- Excellent dog‑handling abilities, including anxious or reactive dogs
- Ability to work independently and stay productive without supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a positive work environment
- Must be available to work one weekend day a week.
