Inglewood Unified School District is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Community Liaison Specialist! This incumbent will be responsible for performing a variety of duties in the support and maintenance of community relations and volunteer programs within the District. The position requires graduation Graduation from High School or equivalent education. The position also requires two years of increasingly responsible experience directly-related to administering social services to families, community outreach, or parent involvement. JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, perform a variety of duties in the support and maintenance of community relations and volunteer programs within the District; serve as a liaison between District programs, parents, students, teachers, counselors, community groups, and social service agencies; performs routine clerical duties and other related work as required.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION The examination process for this recruitment may be comprised of one or any combination of the following: screening of the applicant's training, background, and experience; scored evaluation of responses on a supplemental application; written examination(s); qualifications appraisal oral examination; performance examination; or technical oral examination, scored on a job-related basis. Only the most highly qualified candidates will be invited to continue in the examination process. Successful candidates who pass all parts of the examination process will be placed on the eligibility list in order of their relative merit as determined by these competitive examinations. The eligibility list for this classification will remain in effect for a period of 6 months.

EXAMINATION PROCESS:
For those candidates who meet the minimum qualifications, the examination process will consist of any one or more of the following: Training and Experience Evaluation, Virtual Test, and two interviews. Additional information pertaining to the examination process will be emailed to those candidates who meet the minimum qualifications.
EXAMINATION PROTESTS:
Protests of any part of the examination process must be in writing and received in the office of the Director of Human Resources no later than five (5) working days from the date you were notified of the examination results. All notifications are sent electronically via email. Any protest must include rationale to support the protest and must be based on illegal discrimination, abuse of discretions, or procedure/process error.
