Metal Fabrication Apprentice / Shop Helper — Redding, CA
Pay: $20–$25/hr DOE Full-time Overtime available 401(k) match.

We’re a family-owned metal fabrication shop looking for a dependable Apprentice/Shop Helper who shows up, works safe, and takes pride in clean, solid work. If you want a steady paycheck, a respectful crew, and a path to become a fabricator or welder, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
- Grind and polish welds after fabrication
- Assemble metal components (stairs, rails, canopies, fencing, structural parts)
- Forklift work (we’ll train if needed) and tie off loads
- Prep parts for paint, stage materials, and keep the shop clean and organized
- Load/unload deliveries and help wherever the team needs you
What We’re Looking For
- Hardworking, dependable, and safety-minded—this is a physical job
- Comfort with basic hand and power tools
- Forklift experience is a plus (not required—we’ll train)
- Team player, good attitude, willing to learn
- Able to lift 50+ lbs
- No experience required in metal fab—if you’re motivated, we’ll teach you
