A Level I Trauma Center in Hartford, CT is seeking experienced Travel Registered Nurses for Emergency Department (ED) and ED Holds assignments. This is a high-acuity, high-volume environment with consistent overtime opportunities and multiple shift options.
Location: Hartford, CT
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Dates: 5/11 or 5/18
Schedule: 36 hours/week
$2,400 Weekly Gross Pay (36 hours)
Pay Breakdown: $24.28/hr, $36.42/hr ot, $1,526/stipend

Facility Overview

Common Diagnoses:
- Level I trauma (MVCs, GSWs, major injuries)
- STEMI and cardiac emergencies
- Stroke alerts
- Sepsis and septic shock
- Respiratory failure
- Behavioral health and psychiatric cases
- General ED presentations
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
- Manage high-acuity and critical patients
- ED Holds nurses must be comfortable with both ED and inpatient hold assignments
- Document accurately using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Level I or II Trauma experience required
- Required Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS; TNCC
Time Off (RTO)
- Up to 7 days of RTO allowed
- Requests over 5 days will extend the contract by 1 week
